Desiring God Community Church aims to spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things, for the joy of all peoples. We believe that our greatest obligation is to delight in God. For God created us for His glory - and God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.

Here in Charlotte, God has called us to establish a church that builds true, joyful community from the many people-groups God has brought to the area. We thus aim to be a church of the nations, with ministries to the nations, both those in Charlotte and around the world.

Our vision is to build a God-centered, Christ-exalting, Bible-saturated, diversity-loving, missions-mobilizing, family-strengthening, disciple-producing, prayer-powered, joy-pursuing church.
